Fagor Oval Dutch Oven and Raspberry-Peach Cobbler

I was really excited when Fagor sent me their Oval Dutch Oven to test out. We have a wood burning stove in our house, and I've been anxious to get a dutch oven for food storage purposes, and so I can try out some yummy recipes!

This Oval Dutch Oven is really nice. It comes in 3 colors and I chose red which matches my kitchen perfectly. It also came with a recipes with a bunch of ideas I am dying to try.

I made a peach-raspberry cobbler. It was super easy, and the cleanup was quick too. Everybody raved about the cobbler, so I guess I'll have to make it more often.

To make the cobbler, I just poured a quart of peaches that I had canned last week, along with the juice, in the bottom of the dutch oven. I topped with a bag of frozen raspberries. Then I dumped a white cake mix (yellow works too) over the top. I didn't stir it at all, but added just enough water to the top so that everything was barely moist. (Maybe 3/4 cup)

I baked it in the oven at 350 until a toothpick inserted came out clean. We ate it hot with vanilla ice cream over the top.

Thank you Fagor for sending me this awesome product! If anyone is looking for a nice dutch oven that is pretty and ok for every day use, I would definitely recommend this one!
